About Todd Meador
A Former Prosecutor Now Fighting For You
Todd graduated in 1998 from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. He then graduated in 2001 from Southern Methodist University School of Law. After graduation, he was immediately employed by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted general misdemeanors and felonies, as well as focusing on family violence and drug cases.
In 2008, Todd moved to Midland to work for Cimarex Oil and Gas Co. as a Landman. In 2017, he was promoted to Land Manager, where he continued to work until 2020.
In 2020, Todd returned to prosecution, this time in Midland County, where he worked from 2020-2026. During this time, Todd worked in both the 441st Judicial District Court and the 142nd Judicial District Court, where he achieved a 94% conviction rate and three life sentences. Toward the end of his tenure with the office, Todd was promoted to chief prosecutor of the 441st Judicial District Court.
In March of 2026, Todd founded Todd Meador, Attorney at Law, PLLC, where he brings the same level of competence and energy to his representation of private clients that he did while working for Midland County.
